La'cryma Christi (Latin for "The Tears of Christ") is a J-Rock band, which formed in 1994 and disbanded in January of 2007.

The band was originally formed under the name of Strippe-D Lady in 1993 by vocalist and leader Taka with his college friend, Hiro. The two friends held a small audition in Kansai to find new talent for the band. And the result, they recruited Koji and Levin who were high school friends, and a bassist Kita-J. This Osaka based indie band played hard rock and heavy metal during this time period. In October 1994, Kita-J decided to leave the band and was replaced by Shuse.

After this the band changed their name to La'cryma Christi before releasing their first single, "Siam's Eye" on a local indies label in 1994. The band moved to Tokyo in 1996, releasing their first mini album, Warm Snow which sold 15,000 copies. In 1997 they signed with a major label and debuted with Ivory Trees. Their single "Mirai Koro" was used as the ending for the anime Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective and reached #3 on the Oricon singles chart.

They founded their own label, Majestic Ring, in 2003. Koji left the band in March 2005 (after a gig on the 21st), and in September 2006, the band announced that they will officially disband in January 2007.

Banda visual da segunda metade dos anos 90 formada em Nagoya por MITSURU no vocal, KATSU e HIZMI nas guitarras, YOHMA no baixo e SHIRO na bateria. É considerada como pertencente à primeira geração Nagoya Kei.
Lançaram duas demos e em Janeiro de 96 o single "Lost Age", seguido pelo mini-album "Tsuki ga yami ni kageru toki" em Agosto e o maxi-single CD + Video "END OF THE LOST AGE SINCE 1996" em Setembro.
Em Junho de 1997 lançam seu primeiro full-album intitulado "Yume o wasureta idenshi", em Novembro lançam o single "~feel so..." e o maxi-single "...Ni tame ruwa hen rema nama ni kemono" distribuído gratuitamente no tradicional clube Nisshin Power Station.
Começam 98 com o lançamento do maxi-single "HUMANOID" em fevereiro, em Julho lançam uma coletânea de regravações: "Sensou o shiranai otonatachi" e em Setembro um novo mini-album intitulado "時計仕掛けの地球“Digital”clock work age".
Seu último lançamento foi o maxi-single "Good bye my earth." em Abril de 99.
Quando a banda acabou MITSURU parece não ter seguido carreira musical, todos os outros membros se juntaram ao vocalista KoHey do Sleep my Dear que havia acabado também na mesma época do Shizuku... e formaram a banda Medical Trance Peach.

Shizuku... é tão foda quando desconhecida. Prato cheio pra quem curte o rock visual dos anos 90, não deixe de conferir.

BAISER

O BAISER foi formado em 1991, no inicio a banda contava com Yukari no vocal, Hiderou junto com Akane nas guitarras, Haiji no baixo e o baterista GAZ, que deu suporte para a banda até que Akihiro entrasse.

Com Esta formação a banda gravou suas duas primeiras demo-tape e o album seppun ~kuchizuke~, até que em 1995 Akihiro deixa a banda e é subistituido por TOSHIMI, com a nova formação, foi gravado o album ASH.
Após o lançamento desse album, baiser anuncia seu fim.

Porém, no ano de 1997 Yukari decide reformular a banda, a nova formação foi a seguinte; Katsura na bateria, Mizuku e Rei nas guitarras e Shaisuke no baixo, além de Yukari, é claro.
O 'novo' BAISER, não mudou somente na formação, mas também nos aspectos visuais, e também muicais. Diferente dos lançamentos anteriores, você podia notar um BAISER muito mais melodico, porém é claro, com seus momentos obscuros e pesados.
A banda estava em seu auge, após vários lançamentos no ano de 1998, em 1999 eles se tornaram major, lançaram alguns singles, o album hana, e o single Pegasus, que seria o ultimo lançamento da banda.

Com seus 10 anos de carreira, posso com toda certeza dizer que o BAISER é uma banda injustiçada pelos fãs mais atuais de visual kei.
Eles contribuiram muito para o cenario, tanto em aspectos visuais tanto sonoros, e mesmo assim, são tão pouco lembrados hoje em dia.

BAISER was formed in 1991, in the beginning the band had Yukari on vocals, Hiderou along with Akane on guitars, Haiji on bass and drummer GAZ, who supported the band until Akihiro joined. With this formation the band recorded its first two demo-tapes and the album seppun ~kuchizuke~, until in 1995 Akihiro left the band and was replaced by TOSHIMI, with the new formation, the album ASH was recorded. After the release of this album, baiser announces its disbandment. However, in 1997 Yukari decides to reformulate the band, the new formation was as follows; Katsura on drums, Mizuku and Rei on guitars and Shaisuke on bass, plus Yukari of course. The 'new' BAISER has not only changed in line-up, but also in visual and musical aspects. Unlike previous releases, you could notice a much more melodic BAISER, but of course, with its dark and heavy moments. The band was at its peak, after several releases in 1998, in 1999 they became major, released some singles, the album hana, and the single Pegasus, which would be the last release of the band. With its 10 years of career, I can definitely say that BAISER is a band that is wronged by the most current fans of visual kei. They contributed a lot to the scene, both in visual and sound aspects, and even so, they are so little remembered today.

Mais uma banda da carreira foda do Yuuga(♥), Chateau La tour é anterior ao Kar'mariA. Contava com os guitarristas kiyo(futuro Kar'mariA também) e Shuji que antes fazia parte da banda Diana na qual Yuuga havia sido tecladista suporte(?)(seu primeiro trampo na música xD), Aki no baixo e Ke-To na bateria. Antes(?) de Ke-To tiveram um baterista suporte: kyou, que depois se juntaria ao Shuji na banda Chronosphere.
Eles iniciaram em 1999, lançaram três singles, uma demo-tape e um full-álbum, todos concentrados na segunda metade de 2000. A banda acabaria em Janeiro de 2001.

Ótima banda de Nagoya, começaram em Julho de 1999 e em outubro do mesmo ano assinam com o popular selo de Nagoya DonutsRecordWest, terminaram em Junho de 2001.
Mantiveram a mesma formação do início ao fim, o vocalista TATSYA e o guitarrista Kaine seguiram na banda Arpege, após à qual TATSYA infelizmente parece sumir de cena e Kaine se juntou ao 6R, o baixista hikaru foi suporte no KISUIproject e lynch.
O seu baterista era músico suporte e não saía com a banda nas fotos.

Vizell é muito foda, voz linda e marcante do TATSYA, rock gótico, batida e riffs característicos do visual rock, clima obscuro e visual mais leve honrando a tradição Nagoya Kei.
Lançaram três singles e dois mini-albuns, todos disponíveis aqui.

Uma das bandas ícone do Nagoya Kei, formou-se no final de 1993 com o baixista KAIKI, vindo do Silver~Rose e futuramente o fundador do popular selo Soleil, o guitarrista RIKA que era roadie no Silver~Rose, KAZUSHI no vocal, RAYZI na guitarra e o ex-DIE-ZW3E: SHONO, na bateria.
Fizeram parte do selo Noir, casa de bandas como FANATIC◇CRISIS, Romance for~ e Shizuku...

A banda alcançou um grande sucesso, chegando a se tornar major rapidamente, já em 1996, antes do lançamento do single "QUEEN". Antes disso KAIKI, um dos pilares da banda, abandona o ROUAGE(a banda chegou a cogitar uma separação na época) e forma o WITH SEX.
Ainda em 1996 lançam seu primeiro album major: "BIBLE", e logo após o baixista YUKI, ex-DIE-ZW3E assim como SHONO, se junta à banda.
A banda prossegue em sua trajetória de sucesso e em 1999 fazem um show no Nippon Budokan. Em Agosto de 2000 RIKA deixa o ROUAGE mas eles prosseguem até 2001 quando SHONO também decide sair após sua última turnê em Fevereiro, dessa vez o ROUAGE não resiste. Acaba em Março de 2001 e em seus sete anos de atividade deixaram um grande volume de lançamentos de alta qualidade.

Banda FODA formada em 1997 com Suiren no vocal, hisashi e Yuuki nas guitarras, tomoki na bateria e o Michiru(♥) no baixo, músico lendário na cena, fundou o selo Art La'fiesta que abrigou bandas como ACiD, Clair de Lune, além do próprio L'yse:nore, e mais tarde o famoso selo LoopAsh.

O L'yse:nore é uma banda muito respeitada pelos fãs de visual kei old school, em seus três anos de atividade deixou um volume considerável de grandes lançamentos.
Após o fim da banda hisashi, Yuuki e Tomoki parecem ter largardo a música. Suiren se juntou ao L-vie e posteriormente ao Buzz Freak. Michiru teve seu projeto solo, logo depois Aioria, S to M, MASK e alguns outros projetos paralelos. Além de se dedicar à sua carreira de produtor e ao seu selo.

Essa banda é FODA DEMAIS, se você ainda não conhece trate de conhecer já! Falta apenas a primeira demo-tape e os singles, logo que conseguirmos postaremos aqui. O album Pharacy é bem difícil de achar, divulguem bastante. =D

V.A. HEAT ～introduction of HIROSHIMA age～

Lançado no ano de 2000, o V.A . "HEAT ～introduction of HIROSHIMA age～" reuniu algumas das melhores bandas de vk old. Recentemente, em 2008 houve, um novo lançamento com o nome parecido: HEAT～introduction of HIROSHIMA Real Age～, que reuniu bandas como Mona Lisa, mr. unknown, SCARLETT, gaara, etc.

O interessante é que o つかさ(Tsukasa), vocalista da Velze Dieulawahl(que participou em 2000 com a música MIST), foi chamado novamente após 8 anos para participar com a sua nova banda: mr. unknown, que é bem legal mas não se assemelha à sua antiga banda, devido a ele estar cantando diferente e com o vocal não muito grave.

E o engraçado é que mesmo as bandas do lançamento de 2008 dificilmente encontra-se informações. Por exemplo: mica, que saiu na HEAT de 2008 foi formada pelos ex-membros do Aliza Marie. Bem interessante não? :D

Banda iniciada em Junho de 2000 com Kanwa no vocal, Aki e Yui nas guitarras, Shizuku no baixo e Shou na bateria.
Fazia parte do selo STORM(uma ramificação da Matina), fundado pelo ToshiA, vocalista da banda Philia(ex. Facizm) da Matina no começo de 2001.

É muito difícil conseguir informação sobre eles, a banda acabou em Maio de 2003 e durante seu período em atividade lançaram duas demo-tapes, um single e dois mini-albuns, além de sair em alguns V.A.'s da Matina.
Sabe-se também que em algum momento Yui deixa a banda e entra um novo guitarrista: Shuri. Depois é Kanwa quem sai e Shuri passa de guitarrista à vocalista.
